Ms. Adjoa Serwah Brenya received her Senior Secondary School Certificate from Wesley Girls High School, Cape Coast, Ghana. She also obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food science and her Masters in Philosophy of Science (Mphil) in Nutrition from the University of Ghana.

Ms. Adjoa Brenya had worked as a Laboratory Analyst (Intern) at the CEPS laboratory KIA-airport and as a Research Assistant with the Department of Nutrition and Food Science, University of Ghana for her national service. Ms Brenya also had the opportunity to work with the International Lipid Base Nutrient Supplement studies (iLiNS) team as a field research assistant. ILiNS was a Bill Gates funded five year project in partnership with the University of Ghana. With Ghana Health Service, Ms. Brenya worked as a Nutrition Officer at Agona West Municipal Health Directorate. She also worked on a project paper like ‘nutritional status and associated risk factors and determinants among young people in southern Ghana’ from the IHTAS study. Presently, she works on the Calling Time on Neglected Tropical Diseases (COUNTDOWN) project at the Dodowa Health Research Center. Her current research interests include maternal and child health.
