Mr. David Akpakli is a Senior Health Research Officer with BA in Psychology and MPA in Public Administration. With over six years work experience in the health sector and working with Dodowa Health Research Centre as a Senior Health Research Officer, he has worked on a number of research projects mainly in the area of child and maternal health, water and sanitation. Also, as part of efforts to build capacity for health practitioners within the health sector of Ghana, Mr Akpakli coordinates training and capacity building programmes for health practitioners within the Southern belt of Ghana. His career and research interests are in implementation science, health policy, management and leadership with particular attention to maternal, child and adolescent health. Further, Mr Akpakli has keen interest in scientific article writing and publication. In this regard, he has been able to co-publish six (6) scientific research articles in the BMC Research Notes, BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth, International Journal of Trend in Scientific Research and Development and Health Care Women International.
